Special Orders We can't afford to have everything in stock at all times (although it seems that way when we do inventory). We gladly will special order cameras and supplies we don't have in stock. There are necessarily added delays but we attempt to expedite delivery and ship in a timely manor. Unfortunately sometimes even the manufacturer doesn't have an item; when that happens we notify the customer of the problem and the expected delay. For instance, the Contax G-1 16mm f8 Hologon lens set took 16 months from order date to delivery and this summer's Olympic Games left Nikon without a super-telephoto lens in stock!
